Acceptable Use Policy
This AUP governs your use of any product, service, or website provided by Adscod Ltd. It ensures lawful use, protects our community, and preserves our brand's integrity.

By using any Adscod Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. If you do not agree, you may not access or use any Adscod Service.
1. Reporting Suspected Violations
To report violations of this AUP, please forward the offending message (including full headers) to legal@adscod.com. All reports are investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken.
If you suspect a violation, you must notify us in writing immediately.
2. Prohibited Email Practices
a. No Spam
You may not use the Adscod Service to send spam, including bulk or one-to-one commercial emails that are unsolicited or unlawful. Prohibited practices include:
- Sending emails without verifiable recipient consent.
- Using harvested or scraped email addresses.
- Failing to comply with applicable Ugandan data protection and electronic communications laws.
b. False or Misleading Communications
You may not:
- Use misleading headers or email addresses.
- Obscure the origin or path of emails.
- Use third-party domains without permission.
- Include deceptive subject lines.
- Misuse Adscod's branding without prior written consent.
c. Purchase Lists
You may not use purchased, rented, scraped, or borrowed email lists with Adscod Services.
3. Email Opt-Out Requirements
All commercial emails must include:
- Accurate header information.
- A clear and functional unsubscribe mechanism.
You must honor all opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly.
4. No Service Disruption
You may not:
- Interfere with or degrade any system or network.
- Gain unauthorized access to data or services.
- Introduce malware or engage in hacking, spoofing, or denial-of-service attacks.
- Cause Adscod domains or IPs to be blacklisted.
5. Proper Use of the Adscod Service
You must not use the Adscod Service to:
- Harass, threaten, defame, or deceive.
- Upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.
- Violate intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Disseminate viruses or malicious code.
- Circumvent access controls.
- Engage in abusive or non-genuine usage (e.g., uploading and purging large contact lists).
5.1 Financial and Wallet Conduct
You must not:
- Manipulate Wallet balances, ledger entries, or transaction records through technical exploits or social engineering.
- File fraudulent payout or billing disputes to obtain undeserved refunds, credits, or earnings.
- Collude with other users to artificially inflate campaign clicks or creator/publisher earnings.
- Use the Adscod Wallet or Flutterwave payment channels for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt unauthorized withdrawals, or generate fraudulent clicks to inflate Wallet earnings.
5.2 Engagement and Fraud-Signal Integrity
You must not:
- Artificially inflate or manipulate engagement metrics or fraud-detection signals through fake accounts, purchased followers, bots, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
- Evade, circumvent, or interfere with Adscod's automated fraud detection system (which monitors engagement anomalies, follower velocity, click bursts, and conversion patterns).
- Abuse the Creator Boost feature to artificially manipulate feed rankings or visibility beyond the purchased promotion.
5.3 Conversion Tracking and Attribution Fraud
You must not:
- Inflate clicks or conversion events attributed to your campaigns, bio page cards, or affiliate links through automated tools, click farms, self-referrals, or any other fraudulent means.
- Deploy the Adscod tracking pixel on pages where it is not disclosed to end users, or in a manner that circumvents applicable data protection laws.
- Manipulate tracking pixel data to falsely attribute sales, sign-ups, or clicks that did not result from genuine campaign activity.
- Initiate unauthorized payment chargebacks or reversals for Wallet funds already debited or credited for clicks already verified and billed by The Eye.
Your usage must also comply with:
- The Adscod Service Limits available at Pricing.
- Developer Terms.
6. Restricted Industries
Adscod may restrict or terminate access for industries prone to abuse or spam, including:
- Cryptocurrency
- Escort or dating services
- Pharmaceuticals
- Gambling
- Multi-level marketing (MLM)
- List brokers or rented list providers
- Selling social media likes, followers, or engagement
- Services that facilitate manipulation of engagement metrics or fraud-detection signals
- Money services or unlicensed financial intermediaries
7. Trademark Usage
You may not use Adscod's name, logo, tagline, or marks without express prior written consent. Hyperlinks and branded identifiers must comply with our trademark guidelines.
8. General Terms
- Enforcement: We may suspend or terminate your access for any breach of this AUP.
- Disclosure: We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations. Where possible, we will notify you unless prohibited.
- Updates: We may update this AUP by posting changes on this page. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
