Tracking your earnings and withdrawing
What you actually receive after withholding tax and processing fees, and what withdrawal requires.
Earnings dashboard
Your dashboard shows real-time earnings broken down by card — Brand Campaign clicks, brand affiliate commission on sales, and totals across your whole bio page. When a brand funds a campaign, that money sits in escrow until it's paid out to you — a security measure, not a delay tactic.
Three balances to understand
Your Wallet and Earnings page shows three numbers, and they answer different questions. Available Balance is money that has cleared and is ready to cash out. Pending Earnings (escrow) is money you've earned but that hasn't been released to you yet. Total Earned is your all-time commissions — the sum of everything, whether or not it's been paid out.
Pending Earnings moves to your Available Balance automatically once it clears a short verification window and the advertiser's campaign budget is funded. Until both of those are true, it stays in escrow — a security measure so neither side is paid from a campaign that hasn't fully funded, not a delay tactic.

How your balance moves
How earnings are calculated
- Brand Campaign cards — 65% of what the advertiser pays for the activity on your page: per verified click (CPC), per conversion (CPA), or per 1,000 impressions (CPM)
- Brand affiliate commission — 65% of the commission the advertiser set, when a click you sent converts into a sale
- Fraud-flagged clicks, conversions, and impressions are excluded automatically and never count toward your balance
How earnings move through your wallet
Every activity on your page accrues immediately, but it doesn't land in your Available Balance directly. Earnings accrue as pending at high precision, then a background sweep runs hourly: any activation with at least $1.00 in pending earnings — and an advertiser campaign that still has funds deposited — is swept into your withdrawable wallet automatically. Below the $1.00 threshold, or while the campaign is waiting on advertiser funding, the pending amount simply carries over to the next hourly run.

You receive
Net amount lands in your mobile money or bank account.
Your wallet is held in USD; the local-currency figure on the dashboard is an estimate.
- In rare cases a sweep is held instead of paid out — if your account's fraud/trust score is low, earnings are held, not lost, and sweep through once your score recovers
- Fraud-flagged activity never enters pending at all — it's excluded automatically before it ever accrues
Withholding tax
Withdrawals have withholding tax (WHT) deducted before payout — 15% by default. Add a valid TIN in Settings and it drops to 6%. Every withdrawal breaks out the gross amount, the WHT deducted, and the net transfer separately, and your past-payouts list keeps that same gross/WHT breakdown per transaction.
A worked withdrawal example
Say you withdraw a gross 400,000 in your local currency. With WHT at 15%, that's 60,000 withheld; the 2.5% processing fee is another 10,000; the net that actually lands in your account is 330,000. With a TIN on file (WHT drops to 6%), the same gross yields 366,000 net — the fee is unchanged, the tax is 24,000 instead of 60,000. Your withdrawal screen shows this gross/WHT/fee/net breakdown before you confirm.

Withdrawing
- 1Go to Wallet and Earnings in your dashboard
- 2Choose mobile money, bank transfer, or card as your payout method
- 3Enter your wallet PIN to confirm — set one up first if you haven't
- 4Withdraw once your balance clears the minimum for that method: around $5 for mobile money, $10 for card, $20 for bank transfer
- 5A processing fee applies — 2.5% for standard withdrawals, or 4.5% for express/same-day
Timing
Mobile money withdrawals are instant; bank transfers typically take 5-7 business days at the standard fee, or same-day at the express fee.
Reading your transaction history
The Transaction History tab lists every movement in and out of your wallet, newest first. You'll see Commission earned (a credit), Earnings pending and Earnings released (the escrow holds and releases as activity clears the verification window), and Cash out (withdrawals). The ledger is paginated, so older entries are a few pages back rather than missing.
- The Withdrawals tab tracks each cash-out by method and status — Pending, Processing, Completed, or Failed
- A Completed payout shows the exact amount, method, and date; a Failed one shows the reason and lets you retry
- Use the ledger to reconcile what you've earned against your earnings dashboard at any time
If a withdrawal fails
A withdrawal can fail after you confirm it — the money is never lost. Your balance is restored, and the failed payout shows a reason in the Withdrawals tab so you know what to fix: a wrong mobile money number, outdated bank account details, or a provider that rejected the method. Correct the detail and cash out again.
The currency question
Your creator wallet is held in USD. Your dashboard also shows an approximate local-currency figure for convenience — but that estimate uses today's rate, and the actual amount you receive is set by the payment provider's rate at cash-out time. Treat the local figure as a ballpark, not a quote.
Growing your earnings
- Keep Brand Activations toggled on in Settings → Privacy so Argus can match you to relevant advertisers
- Actually activate the matches that show up — a match doesn't place itself on your page automatically
- Add affiliate offers that genuinely fit your audience from the Affiliates page
- Add a TIN to keep more of every withdrawal
