Toggling brand campaigns on

Argus matches campaigns to your audience automatically, but you still activate each one — here's the actual flow.

No applications needed, but you do activate each match

You never apply to a brand or wait for approval — Argus matches campaigns to you based on your audience's country, device mix, and content category. But a match doesn't place itself on your page automatically: it shows up under "Available to activate" in your dashboard, and you click Activate to actually put it on your bio page. You can also mark a match "Not interested" to stop being matched to it again (with an Undo if you change your mind), and each active card has its own show/hide toggle independent of everything else.

Your activations dashboard shows your bio link (adscod.com/@username) front and center with a one-click copy — paste it in your Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube bio. Activated cards only earn if people actually reach your bio page, so this is the step that makes everything else pay off.

Available-to-activate matches sit above your existing activations.

Turning brand activations on or off

  1. 1Go to Settings → Privacy in your dashboard
  2. 2Find "Available for Brand Activations"
  3. 3Switch it on to be eligible for new matches, or off to stop being matched with more

Turning it off doesn't remove what's already placed

This is easy to assume wrong: switching Brand Activations off only pauses new matching going forward. Any campaigns you've already activated keep running and keep earning exactly as before — you'll see a note to that effect if you have live placements while opted out. To actually stop a specific card, hide it with its own Showing/Hidden toggle or mark it Not interested.

Blocking whole categories

In the same Privacy settings, you can exclude specific campaign categories entirely — campaigns in a blocked category are never offered to you as a match. Each match you do see also shows a "why this matched" reason (niche fit, targeting scope, or payout tier).

How you earn

Your share depends on the campaign's pricing model — per verified click (CPC), per conversion (CPA), or per 1,000 impressions (CPM) — not always "CPC." Earnings accrue at 6-decimal precision as pending, then sweep into your withdrawable wallet automatically every hour once pending earnings reach $1.00 and the campaign has funds deposited. A campaign that's run out of advertiser funding shows "awaiting advertiser funding" on that activation until it's topped up. Fraud-flagged activity is excluded automatically and never pays out.

Why a card might disappear or stop earning

  • The matched advertiser's wallet ran out and the campaign auto-paused — you'll see "Campaign paused" (or whatever its status is) on that activation
  • Argus re-matched and found a better fit elsewhere
  • You hid it with its Showing/Hidden toggle, or marked it Not interested
