Community Guidelines

These guidelines define the standards of behavior and content we expect from all members of the Adscod community — Brands, Creators, and Users alike.

Effective Date: March 28, 2026

These Community Guidelines apply to all users of the Adscod platform and supplement our General Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Purpose

Adscod is a platform built to foster meaningful connections between Brands and Creators. These guidelines exist to ensure that every interaction on the Platform is respectful, authentic, and lawful.

Violating these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination, at Adscod's sole discretion.

2. Respect and Inclusion

We are committed to a safe and welcoming environment. You must not:

  • Engage in harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats against any person
  • Promote or incite hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • Use slurs, dehumanizing language, or discriminatory rhetoric
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Stalk, dox, or share personal information about others without consent

3. Authenticity and Transparency

  • Be truthful about who you are and the brands or services you represent.
  • Disclose all material relationships, sponsorships, and paid partnerships (e.g., using #ad, #sponsored, or platform-provided disclosure tools).
  • Do not manipulate engagement metrics through fake accounts, purchased followers, bots, or automated engagement.
  • Do not artificially inflate engagement or click metrics, or attempt to game The Eye's fraud detection. Adscod's fraud detection system monitors engagement anomalies, follower velocity, click bursts, and conversion patterns — violations may result in commission forfeiture or account action.
  • Do not inflate clicks or conversion events attributed to your bio page cards or affiliate links through click farms, self-referrals, automated tools, or any other deceptive means.
  • Do not create misleading or deceptive content, including fake reviews or testimonials.
  • Respect the distinction between editorial content and advertising.

4. Safety

The following are strictly prohibited on the Platform:

  • Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm
  • Sexually explicit or exploitative content, including child exploitation material
  • Content related to illegal drugs, weapons, or regulated goods in violation of applicable law
  • Phishing, scams, or fraudulent schemes
  • Any activity that endangers the safety of others

5. Content Standards

All content published or shared through the Platform must:

  • Be original or properly licensed
  • Comply with the advertiser's creative and brand-safety guidelines when a Brand Campaign card is active on your bio page
  • Clearly disclose Brand Campaign cards as advertising or affiliate content, in line with applicable advertising standards
  • Not contain misinformation or unverifiable health, financial, or safety claims
  • Not promote illegal products, services, or activities
  • Include appropriate age, content, or trigger warnings where reasonably necessary

Adscod reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others, including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
  • Do not upload, share, or distribute content for which you do not have the necessary rights or permissions.
  • If you believe your IP has been infringed, contact us at legal@adscod.com with details of the claim.

7. Spam, Manipulation & Financial Conduct

7.1 Spam and Platform Manipulation

  • Do not send unsolicited messages, mass invitations, or repetitive content.
  • Do not use the Platform to distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate search rankings, discovery algorithms, or platform features.
  • Do not scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform without authorization.
  • Do not abuse Creator Boost features to artificially manipulate feed rankings beyond the purchased promotion scope.

7.2 Financial Integrity

  • Do not file fraudulent billing or payout disputes or chargebacks to obtain undeserved refunds or credits.
  • Do not collude with other users to artificially inflate campaign clicks or creator/publisher earnings.
  • Do not use the Adscod Wallet or Flutterwave payment channels for money laundering, fraud, or any unlawful financial activity.
  • Do not attempt to evade or circumvent The Eye's fraud screening to get fraudulent clicks billed or credited.
  • Do not circumvent the wallet PIN security or share your credentials with others.

8. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines:

  • Use the in-platform reporting feature to flag the issue.
  • Email community@adscod.com with details including links, screenshots, and context.
  • Reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. All reports are treated confidentially.

  • Warning: A first notice for minor violations.
  • Content Removal: Immediate removal of violating content.
  • Temporary Suspension: Account access restricted for a defined period.
  • Permanent Ban: Account permanently terminated for severe or repeated violations.
