How the advertiser wallet works
Every campaign runs on a pre-paid balance — no invoices, no credit.
Pre-paid, not post-paid
You fund your wallet before launching a campaign. As Argus verifies clicks, the cost is deducted from your balance in real time. There's no invoicing cycle and no spending beyond what you've funded — your balance is the hard ceiling.
Funding your wallet
- 1Go to Wallet in your advertiser dashboard
- 2Choose a funding method — card, bank transfer, or mobile money
- 3Enter the amount you want to load (minimum $10, or the USD equivalent in your local currency)
- 4Confirm the payment — funds appear in your wallet as soon as the payment is processed
Minimums
- Minimum wallet top-up — $10
- Minimum spend to launch a campaign — $10
- Minimum CPC bid — $0.40 (CPA $3.50, CPM $1.50)
How clicks are billed
Each click is screened by Argus for fraud before it counts. Only verified clicks are billed to your wallet at the bid you set — fraud-flagged clicks are never charged. Deductions happen immediately, so your wallet balance and campaign analytics always agree.
Auto-pause on low balance
When your balance gets too low to cover further clicks at your set CPC, the campaign automatically pauses. You'll see a low-balance notice in your dashboard before this happens.
Topping up
Add funds any time via card, bank transfer, or mobile money. Paused campaigns resume automatically as soon as your balance clears the threshold needed to keep running — no need to relaunch.
Transaction history
Your wallet logs every movement — top-ups, per-campaign debits for verified clicks, and any adjustments — in a full transaction history you can reconcile against your campaign analytics.
Unused balance
Any balance you don't spend stays in your wallet and is available to fund future campaigns whenever you're ready. If you ever decide to close your account, check your dashboard for refund options for the remaining balance.
